The City of Raleigh is undertaking a significant project to relocate and expand the Red Hat Amphitheater as part of the Raleigh Convention Center’s (RCC) expansion. This initiative aims to enhance downtown Raleigh’s capacity to host larger events and attract major musical acts
The Red Hat Amphitheater, originally built in 2010 adjacent to the RCC at 500 South McDowell Street, is being moved one block south to 205 West Lenoir Street. This relocation facilitates RCC’s expansion, which has reached its capacity. Conti will perform the offsite utilities relocation for the main project which includes installation of temporary laydown yard for the Construction Manager. Utility work includes the installation of sanitary sewer and 16 inch waterline.
