Albert J. Ellis Airport (OAJ) is undergoing a significant runway expansion project to attract new airlines, support larger aircraft (including military operations), and boost regional economic development.

Conti is peforming the construction of both roadway and runway extenion scopes of work.  The project includes extensive renovation and expansion of the airport’s runway and taxiway to provide a transformative travel experience for travelers of the Eastern North Carolina area.
